RTTI is a learning taxonomy that describes the four most important learning categories:
Reproduction, Training, Transfer and Insight.
Reproduction
Things to remember:
Reproduction of facts and other knowledge is about the material you learn by heart.
Training
What you have practiced:
Training is using the subject matter in familiar situations, in the way you have practiced.
Transfer
What you use your own way:
Transfer is using the subject matter in unfamiliar, new situations, where you have to decide for yourself which combination of previously learned methods you can best use to solve the problem.
Insight
What you understand:
Insight questions go deeper into the reading material. You need to make connections, as well as understand and solve problems that are outside of what you have encountered.
RTTI is at the bases of our publications, supporting forms and tools.
